Beautiful makeup begins with thoughtful preparation. We assess hydration, texture, dryness, and excess oil, then select high-quality products to help create a smooth, comfortable base. Dry skin receives focused hydration; oily or combination skin receives balanced moisture and targeted shine control.
Share known allergies, sensitivities, and previous reactions during planning so Jenny can consider them when selecting products for your trial.
Your makeup is designed around your features, skin tone, undertones, and preferred coverage. High-quality professional products and carefully built layers create a polished finish without an unnecessarily heavy feeling. From natural enhancement to more defined bridal glam, the goal is to look and feel like yourself.
Airbrush foundation is applied in a fine mist, building even coverage in light layers. Traditional foundation is blended with brushes and sponges, allowing precise adjustments to coverage and texture. Both can create a lightweight, natural-looking finish. Jenny will explain the options and recommend an approach for your skin and desired look.
Preparation and setting are planned around your celebration, including outdoor ceremonies, heat, humidity, and dancing. Jenny’s destination wedding experience in Cancun guides the techniques and product choices used to support long wear in demanding conditions.
Jenny selects lash shape, length, fullness, and placement to complement your individual eye shape. Whether you prefer delicate definition or fuller bridal lashes, they are chosen to enhance your eyes and balance your makeup rather than overwhelm your face.
Comfort matters, too. Please share any known lash adhesive sensitivities before your trial.
Your hair frames your face and changes how your neckline, jewelry, and headpiece come together. As an artist, Jenny considers proportion, balance, and shape when designing your updo, half-up style, or waves. Volume is placed intentionally to flatter your features.
We work with fine or thin hair, short hair, and areas of thinning or hair loss. Together, we discuss what is achievable and where added hair or extra support can help bring your vision to life.
Jenny also has experience styling naturally curly hair. If you want to embrace your natural curls, we can design your bridal hairstyle around your curl pattern, with thoughtful definition, face framing, volume, and accessory placement. Whether you choose a curly updo, a half-up style, or wear your curls down, your natural texture can be part of a beautifully considered bridal look.
For destination celebrations, curl-setting techniques, preparation, products, and secure styling are planned around heat and humidity. Jenny’s Cancun experience helps guide how we support curls, volume, and structure; your natural texture and event conditions also inform the style we recommend.
Jenny specializes in South Asian bridal hairstyling, including traditional braids and looks inspired by Tamil, Telugu, and Punjabi bridal styles. Your look is personalized to the traditions you want to honor, your outfit, and your preferred finish.
For your planned bridal braid, Jenny provides the additional braiding hair needed to create its length, fullness, and shape. Your hair accessories are thoughtfully placed and secured within the hairstyle so every detail works together.
After booking, Jenny will help you determine whether extensions would benefit your hairstyle and recommend where to purchase them. You will receive guidance on color, length, texture, and fullness so you know what to get before your trial.
Extensions can add volume to fine hair, create fuller waves, or provide structure for an updo. Jenny carefully places, blends, and styles them with your natural hair for a cohesive finish.
Human-hair clip-in extensions are typically complimentary for brides booking five or more events. Details will be confirmed in your proposal. For other bookings, extension purchase costs are discussed during planning.
Jenny styles, pleats, and secures your dupatta to complement your outfit, frame your face, and feel supported as you move and dance. Crown placement is balanced with your hairstyle, tikka, and jewelry.
Body draping includes neat pleating, thoughtful positioning, and secure placement designed to minimize slipping and shifting. Your fabric, dupatta weight, cultural preferences, and comfort guide the finished drape.
Your veil is positioned to complement your hairstyle, neckline, and bridal silhouette. We consider its length, weight, and attachment method, then secure it with appropriate support.
If you plan to remove your veil later, we will explain how to do so with care so you can feel confident about the transition.
Jenny positions your jewelry and headpieces with an artist’s eye for symmetry, balance, and face framing. Different types of maang tikka are coordinated with your hair parting, hairstyle, and dupatta.
Where appropriate, adhesive suitable for skin helps keep your tikka securely positioned and minimize movement. Please share any adhesive sensitivities during planning.
Bindi placement is included, with attention to your preferred style, size, and position. These finishing details bring your complete bridal look together.
After hair and makeup, we help bring your booked look together through dressing support, accessory adjustments, and final beauty checks. We review how your outfit, hair, makeup, jewelry, and draping work together and make agreed-upon refinements.
This time is built into your experience so you can step into each booked event feeling comfortable, secure, and ready.
A groom makeup touch-up can be included in your bridal booking. Discreet refinements, such as reducing visible shine and lightly evening the complexion where needed, help him feel polished and camera-ready while looking like himself.

Your bridal beauty experience begins before the wedding, with organized preparation and expert recommendations that help you feel confident in your decisions.
Your in-depth consultation takes place during your scheduled in-person bridal trial. We review inspiration, outfits, jewelry, traditions, preferences, and how you want to feel across all your booked events.
Through the JTorry Beauty Mapping Process, Jenny considers your features, hair texture, skin tone, necklines, and accessories to recommend looks that connect while giving each event its own expression.
If you cannot attend in person, we will schedule a private, one-hour Zoom Collaboration Consultation instead to thoughtfully plan your looks remotely.
Everything stays organized in one dedicated place. After booking, your Private Bridal Portal gives you access to your Bridal Collab Form, look inspiration, essential guides, skincare planning guidance, trial instructions, wedding-day preparation, and post-wedding aftercare guidance.
Use your collaboration form to share outfit and accessory photographs and your preferences. You will know what to prepare, what comes next, and where to find important information.
Your guides explain how to prepare your skin and hair, what to bring to the trial, and how to arrive ready for wedding services. Clear instructions help us use your appointment time well.
Aftercare guidance covers caring for your skin and hair after the celebration, including removing makeup and handling styled hair and accessories with care.
Your booking includes one in-person bridal trial at our Dallas-area studio, typically scheduled one to two months before your wedding. Allow approximately three to four hours. Your confirmation email will include the exact location.
We will discuss all your booked event looks and complete one full makeup look and one full hairstyle. They may represent the same event or the makeup and hairstyle you feel least certain about from different events.
Complete your Bridal Collab Form inside your portal first, then email info@jtorryart.com with preferred dates. Trials are generally available Wednesdays at 1:00 PM or 5:00 PM and select Thursdays. Out-of-town brides may share travel dates; Sunday availability is limited and must be confirmed in advance.

Your bridal robe gives you something comfortable to wear while getting ready and adds a thoughtful detail to your preparation photographs.
Your touch-up kit supports small beauty refreshes after your service is complete. We will explain how to use the included items so you can maintain your look with confidence.
Your beauty schedule is coordinated around your ready-by time, dressing needs, and booked services, allowing space for the finishing details. Approximately one month before your wedding, we reconfirm your beauty timing and relevant event details.
Administrative support keeps service details and scheduling organized so you understand the plan as your wedding approaches.
Seamless team coordination: When additional JTorry artists or assistants are part of your booking, we coordinate their assigned services and timing around the agreed-upon beauty schedule, helping your bridal and guest services run smoothly.
For your booked wedding events, we bring bridal hair and makeup to your agreed-upon getting-ready location within Dallas–Fort Worth. You can prepare in your chosen space while we manage the beauty setup and execution.
Location, access, and workspace details are confirmed in advance to support a smooth getting-ready experience.

Flower girl hair and makeup are available as add-ons to your bridal booking. We focus on soft, age-appropriate styling that helps her feel special without heavy makeup.
Dupatta and saree draping for your bridal party, family, and guests are available as add-ons when scheduled alongside your bridal services.
Each drape is styled and secured with care, so your loved ones can enjoy the celebration feeling polished and comfortable.
Hair and makeup for junior bridesmaids and young guests are available as add-ons to your bridal booking when scheduled alongside your bridal services.
