Timing for South Asian Bridal Hair and Makeup
Your first complete bridal look usually requires three to four hours. This includes makeup, hair, accessories, jewelry, dupatta or veil placement, dressing assistance and final checks.
A same-day wedding-to-reception change generally requires approximately two hours. If the available transition is shorter than two hours, an assistant may be required to complete the transformation safely and on time.
JTorry also accommodates early ceremonies. Jenny has begun bridal services as early as 1:00 AM when required by the wedding timeline.
Your South Asian Bridal Trial
The bridal trial is a three-to-four-hour creative session held approximately one to two months before your first wedding event.
You will complete your Bridal Collaboration Form before the appointment. Bring your outfits or clear photographs, dupattas, jewelry, hair accessories and inspiration so the entire bridal direction can be evaluated together.
The trial includes one complete makeup look and one complete hairstyle. It also creates space to discuss your additional events, skin concerns, hair needs, cultural styling details and schedule.
Trials are held at Jenny’s private Dallas studio. Confirmed clients receive the complete location and preparation instructions.

Services for Mothers, Sisters and Bridal Attendants

Behind your bridal experience is Jenny Torry and the JTorry beauty team. When your booking includes services for mothers, sisters, bridesmaids, or guests, additional artists help bring your loved ones’ hair and makeup together within the agreed schedule.
Your proposal confirms who will provide your services, the number of artists needed, and any professional assistant support. This gives you a clear understanding of your team before the celebration.
JTorry can coordinate professional hair and makeup for mothers, sisters, bridesmaids and other attendants as an add-on to your bridal booking. These services cannot be booked separately.
Additional artists are scheduled according to the number of services and the available timeline. Bridal-party makeup and hairstyling starts at $350 per person, including camera-ready makeup, hairstyling and lashes. Draping and additional dressing or styling support are quoted separately.
Full sari draping and more involved dressing services require a separate arrangement.

Yes. Your wedding and reception can have different makeup, hair and styling directions. A same-day transformation generally requires approximately two hours. Condensed transitions may require an assistant.

Yes. Jenny customizes complexion correction and coverage according to your skin. The goal is an accurate, dimensional finish without heaviness, ashiness or unnecessary layers.
