How far in advanced can I book?

I do book weddings as far as a year  in advance. Due to the nature of my business, Saturday’s are normally reserved for my brides and their parties and I have a booking minimum of at least 6 full services on those days for my Traditional Bridal Parties.   However, as your desired date gets closer; preferably, a 2 weeks prior, please contact me and if I have availability during that time, I’d be glad to make you feel even more beautiful for your event. All bookings require 25% of the total cost of services along with the signed Bridal contract or Special event contract.

 

Is a deposit required?

Yes. 25% of the total cost of services, due at booking.  The date and time is secured when both deposit and the signed contract are received.

 

What is the booking process?

I will need to know the type of event it will be, the makeup and hair ready time (the time your hair and makeup needs to be completed by), the event time, the size of the party and the location where the services will be provided. Once I get the details, I will confirm my availability and provide pricing.  If you would like to book then, I will draft a bridal/special event contract.  Please review the contract carefully. If you agree, print it and fill it out completely. Scan and email me the completed contract. You can pay the deposit using one of the payment methods. Once I receive the signed contract and deposit you are confirmed and booked!  Please take care of this within two days as the date can change and be unavailable.

 

What methods of payments do you accept?

I accept Cash, credit card payments, Venmo,  and ACH payment online.

 

Do you do bridal hair and makeup trials? If so, what location?

Definitely! I do full face makeup with one desired hair and makeup look. Trials are done at my home-studio.  These trials are not to be used for portrait sessions or special events. The trials allows the bride to get an idea how they will look like on their wedding day.

 

Do you have a makeup studio?

Yes, I have a home-studio near Grand Prairie/Cedar Hill area and also an office-studio located in North Dallas.  Our office location is located at 13151 Emily Rd Suite# 150, Dallas, TX 75240.  We can discuss what is more convenient for you.

 

What if I’m not sure how I want my hair and makeup to look?

I would recommend searching Pinterest, Magazines, or search the web for pictures of different styles. We’ll discuss your attire, your theme and colors to get the best look for you.

 

Are lashes included?

Yes. Lashes are optional and are highly recommended to complete the fabulous makeover.

 

How do I prepare for my hair and makeup trial?

Clothes – Wear the color of your event dress.  For example, if you are wearing white, you get a better idea of how you will look on the day of the event.

Face – Come with a clean face, free of makeup or mascara. It’s good to moisturize your face and lips.

Hair – Wash and blow dry your hair prior to the appointment, the night before or the morning of the service. Please do not straighten wavy or curly hair with a flat iron,  only brush and blow dry your hair to remove the waves and coils.  There is an additional fee of $35 if you prefer that we blow dry your hair.  Depending on the hairstyle you want, shoulder length hair or thin hair may require extensions to get the needed length and/or volume. You can purchase hair extensions online at www.bellamihair.com or at Sally’s, at least 18 inches clip-in human hair.

Inspirational Pictures – Please bring at least 2-5 pictures of makeup and hair inspirations you do like and a few pictures of what you do not like.

Hair Accessories/Veils – It’s not necessary for the trial but if you have any hair accessories or veil you would like to wear please bring it with you for the trial.

 

How do I prepare for the event date?

Stay hydrated.  Drink plenty of water every day before the wedding.  Hydration is important to keep your skin looking radiant.

Clothes – Please wear a button-up shirt or robe to keep your hair and makeup looking flawless when you are changing into your special event attire. Robes are great!

Face – Come with a clean face, free of makeup or mascara. It’s good to moisturize your face and lips.

How long will my makeup last?

We prep and prime your skin with high quality products to last you all day!

 

Do you travel on location? How far? What is required?

Yes, I do travel and provide makeup and hair services on location. Travel fees within the DFW area starts at $85. If you are getting ready at a hotel, artist will valet at the client’s expense. I am willing to travel out of state.  Travel expenses including hotel and airfare would need to be covered. Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client; however, there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs in order to complete the makeup applications. A “set- up” table/work area need to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. We ask each Client that is receiving services to respect the time of the artist/stylist by refraining from using their cell phone or other distracting devices while receiving services otherwise services will not be provided.

 

What if I am running late to my event?

I know how busy things can get during this time.  Delaying your appointment can potentially delay other appointments. There is a window allowed, but a fee of $25 in incurred for every 15 minutes from the agreed start time.

 

Do you have a team that is available to help with the Bridal party as well?

Yes I have an amazing team that exceeds all expectations. I do have an assistant fee and price will be given at the time of quote. I’ll determine how many Artist I’ll need to ensure the day goes perfect for you.

 

Are you available on holidays?

Certainly!  Please take note that holiday weeks/weekends incur an additional $250 fee.
